Surgery Centers
We partner with several outpatient surgery centers, health care facilities where surgical procedures not requiring an overnight hospital stay are performed.
Insurance
We accept all the popular insurance plans and work with many others. Due to recent changes in healthcare plans we encourage all our patients to confirm their coverage prior to making an appointment to verify that your visit and potential treatment will be covered.
Appointment Cancelations
We are a small medical practice and try to cater to our patients’ schedules as much as possible. In the rare case a patient knows he or she will not be able to make the appointment, please let us know 48 hours in advance.
Uninsured Patients
We believe that uninsured/self-pay patients should also be entitled to excellent medical care. We have payment plans and solutions that allow medical care to be affordable for all patients.

Payments
Insurance co-payments are due at the time of the appointment. If the insurance company does not pay the full balance, or denies the claim, then any unpaid balance is due within 30 days following the appointment. Insurance coverage and benefit questions should be directed to your insurance company.
About
Dr. Andrzej Wojewoda
Dr. Andrzej Wojewoda is a podiatric surgeon who practices in the Chicagoland area. With over thirty years of experience, he specializes in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders and diseases of the foot and ankle.
Early Career
Dr. Wojewoda began his medical education at the Medical University of Lublin in his native Poland. In 1978 he was awarded a Medical Doctor Degree (MD) and chose to pursue a specialty in Orthopedic Surgery. During the subsequent years Dr. Wojewoda operated a successful private practice in the field of Orthopedic Surgery until emigrating to the United States in 1992.
United States and Podiatric Medicine
After arriving in the United States and passing the The United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), Dr. Wojewoda chose to continue his education in the field of Podiatric Surgery. He attended the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine (SCPM) in Chicago and was awarded a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Dr. Wojewoda’s podiatric residency was completed at Rush University Medical Center.
AW Podiatry
AW Podiatry in its current form has been in operation since 2003. The main office is located in Niles, IL and houses two exam rooms and an operating room intended for minor surgeries. The second office is located on the south side of Chicago near Midway airport. Each location provides the same high quality care and serves a variety of patients from American and Polish communities as well as many minorities.
